Liverpool have no intention of selling Thiago Alcantara to the Super Lig side.
Thiago Alcantara has been a key player for Liverpool and the Reds want to keep him amid interest from the Turkish Super Lig. He is likely to stay for this season.
Liverpool brought Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexis Mac Allister, Wataru Endo and Ryan Gravenberch in the summer. They invested more in the midfield section. Jordan Henderson, Fabinho, James Milner, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain left the club.
Thiago Alcantara got offers from the Saudi Pro League but he preferred to stay at Anfield. The 32-year-old rejected all offers but he still has one offer from Super Lig. Turkish window remains open until Friday’s deadline. Trabzonspor is believed to be showing an interest.
The Turkish club recently signed Nicolas Pepe on a free transfer from Arsenal, and now they are targeting one more player from the English top flight.
As per Football Insider, the Reds have no intention of selling the Spanish midfielder to the Super Lig side ahead of Friday’s cut-off. Jurgen Klopp wants to continue with Thiago’s services.
The 32-year-old arrived from Bayern Munich in September and has entered the final 12 months of his contract. Currently, he is on a recovery from a hip injury which has kept him sidelined since April.
