Klopp can definitely bring Matheus Nunes to Anfield next summer.
The winter transfer window is going on and Liverpool are planning to make sure they sign one more good player in January.
According to The Telegraph, Liverpool are exploring a deal to buy Matheus Nunes from Wolves. It is added that the club had reached an agreement to bring him aboard last summer but the deal didn’t happen.
The Portuguese international is seeing a difficult debut season at the Molineux Stadium. He hasn’t scored a goal yet but has created an assist over 16 appearances for the Wolves this season across various competitions.
The 24-year-old has a lot to offer on the pitch. He remains a solid tackler of the ball and excels at creating some promising opportunities for others around him in the opposition half.
Wolves are battling in the relegation zone and it can affect players’ performance. He can look for a bigger stage and Liverpool provided him with a perfect stage.
However, Liverpool also needs a player in midfield. The Reds are struggling in Premier League. They have been knocked out in League Cup as well. Klopp’s side lost to Brentford in their last tie and it can hurt them in the pursuit of Champions League qualification.
Klopp should definitely bring him to Anfield next summer if he makes a decent offer to convince the Wolves.
