Liverpool eyeing Benfica midfielder Enzo Fernandez

Wolves will look to rival Liverpool for Enzo Fernandez’s signature in 2023.

Liverpool are eyeing Benfica midfielder Enzo Fernandez. The Reds can opt for another player from this club as they earlier signed Darwin Nunez in the summer.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is in the market for a young box-to-box midfield addition.

The Reds are struggling to find rhythm in the Premier League this season. Klopp’s side lacked most in the midfield.

Fernandez is on Klopp’s shortlist, and has drawn interest from a number of clubs after a seamless transition to European football from River Plate.

He has netted three goals from midfield in 12 games at Benfica, playing four games in the Champions League.

Wolves have also been keeping tabs on him and will look to rival Liverpool for his signature in 2023.
