Liverpool face huge blow in their pursuit of Brazil star Andre Trindade

Andre’s contract will expire in the summer of 2026.

Liverpool faces a big blow in their chances to sign Brazil star Andre Trindade, as per the reports from The Sun. Fulham have entered into the race and they will now give tough tasks to Liverpool.

Sun Sport had reported earlier that Fulham wants to sign the Fluminense midfielder. They desperately need an playmaker considering their poor show in attack.

Andre has been an outstanding player for Fluminense. The 22-year-old has made 161 appearances. He has scored four goals and provided three assists across all competitions.

Andre’s contract will expire in the summer of 2026. Liverpool had made a bid for him last summer but the deal didn’t happen. Fulham now takes advantage in signing this talented midfielder.

Liverpool have Wataru Endo as the lone cover for the defensive midfield role. Trindade could add value to Klopp’s midfield section. Andre can also challenge some honours at Liverpool. Meanwhile, he can get regular game time at Fulham.
