Reactions of Liverpool fans have started pouring in after Barcelona’s on loan to Bayern Munich striker Philippe Coutinho addressed rumours of him moving to Liverpool.

There were rumours of several Premier League giants wanting to take Philippe on from Barcelona and he had responded to those comments by saying: “Liverpool is flying, and it doesn’t surprise me. We’ve seen it already last year when it won the Champions League, but I’m also not surprised because of their fantastic squad and manager.

“I am so happy for them, because I have so many friends there, former teammates – so I’m just so happy for them, but that’s all. I don’t look back. I took another path, and now I am on another journey, much like everyone else. I’m focused entirely – just like them – on reaching my dreams. I’m happy with what I did in the past, and now I can only look forward.”

The fans are however, are still rather angry about his last exit from Liverpool and have responded.

“You can still lay on your bed young man,” a fan on twitter commented.

Some people have even spoken of his betrayal to his friends.

“And yet he ditched his friends, an amazing team, an amazing manager and amazing fans to become a waste of blood & organs at Barcelona and Bayern Munich.
Be careful with what you wish for Coutinho,” another tweet by a Reds fan reads.

However, not all are angry. Some even want him back!

“To be honest what was his crime? He’s South American, Barcelona are the destination along with Real Madrid – flip it if a scouser was playing for Barca. He had to go. We got amazing players with that money. I’d have him back in a heart beat he’s 5 times the player of Kieta,” tweeted a fan.

With some mixed reactions, Coutinho is in for a bit of a ride!
