Rio Ngumoha, a talented young forward, is set to join Liverpool from Chelsea after receiving approval from the Premier League. Liverpool completed the five-step evaluation procedure, which is required when a young player wants to transfer between two category one academies, on Wednesday, completing the last part of the process. The 15-year-old Ngumoha chose to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the previous campaign after making an appearance for Chelsea’s Under-21 team.

Now that a scholar’s contract has been agreed upon, the England youth international will start for Liverpool in the Under-18 squad. A tribunal may still need to be established in order to decide on a compensation amount between the two clubs, despite the fact that the Premier League has officially approved the deal’s final phases, according to The Athletic.
