The Reds are in talks to swap player with fellow Premier League side.

But will the deal go through?

Liverpool have reportedly entered advanced negotiations with Bournemouth for the transfer of winger Ryan Fraser ahead of the January window. The 25-year-old has been an integral member of Eddie Howe’s squad since its promotion to the Premier League in 2015, making 98 appearances across the past three campaigns.

Fraser, who joined Bournemouth when they were in League One, will be a free agent once the 2019/20 season concludes.

According to talkSPORT, Liverpool are keen to take advantage of the winger’s situation and have entered negotiations with Bournemouth ahead of completing a deal in January, in a move that could involve Harry Wilson making his loan move permanent.

Due to Fraser’s contract only having six months left to run by January, the Scotland international is said to be valued at between £10m and £15m.

However, just before anyone gets too carried away with wondering what kind of role Fraser might play at Liverpool, a writer for The Athletic has taken to Twitter to play down any potential transfer. “I have been told that it is not true”, answered journalist James Pearce when quizzed whether there is any truth in the rumour.
