Liverpool interested in signing defender Rayan Ait-Nouri.
The Reds have shown their interest in signing Wolves full-back in the January transfer window.
Rayan Ait-Nouri has established himself as one of the most promising full-backs in the Premier League since joining Wolverhampton Wanderers from Angers.
The 22-year-old defender has been in and out of the starting XI at Wolves but has cemented his place in the current campaign.
The French-born defender currently represents the Algerian National Team and made his debut in the AFCON tournament this year.
Ait-Nouri has made 14 appearances already this term and his progress has caught the attention of several Premier League clubs.
Liverpool are currently short on left-backs as Andy Robertson is out until the New Year and made an interest in the Wolves defender.
Kostas Tsimikas’ performance has recently attracted some criticism but a January deal for Ait-Nouri seems improbable.
The defender has been the subject of ‘regular and insistent contact’ from the Premier League giants for a move in January.
But Wolves are blocking a potential deal and have no intention of letting the left-back leave this winter transfer window.
