According to reports, Liverpool are interested in signing Barcelona winger Malcom. Malcom joined Barcelona from Bordeaux last summer on a transfer fee of €41 million.
However, Malcom has been anything but a regular under Ernesto Valverde this season.
So far, Malcom has made 14 appearances for the Blaugrana, scoring three goals. The winger got a surprise start in Barca’s Copa del Rey fixture against Real Madrid and even scored an equaliser.
However, due to his lack of game time, Malcom may prefer a move away from Barcelona and Liverpool are interested in signing him.
However, Barcelona are not willing to sell Malcom as he is a useful backup option for the club. The winger got a surprise start in Barca’s Copa del Rey fixture against Real Madrid and even scored an equaliser.
Even if Liverpool manage to sign Malcom, there is no guarantee of more playing time for him. However, Jurgen Klopp will surely give him more playing time than Valverde.
The last time a player moved from Barcelona to Liverpool was back in 2004 when Luis Garcia joined Liverpool.
