According to reports, Liverpool has three advantages over Manchester United in their attempt to win Jarrad Branthwaite from fierce rivals Everton.

The Reds are searching for a new center-back, and Jarell Quansah is attracting a lot of interest. While Ibrahima Konate’s current contract with Real Madrid is set to expire at the end of next season, little progress has been made in contract negotiations with the Frenchman, raising doubts about his future.

The Daily Mail claims that Liverpool has been keeping a close eye on the center-back and that Sporting director Richard Hughes had discussions with Bournemouth about a move for Dean Huijsen before the young Spaniard decided to join Real Madrid. As a result, the Reds are now considering a surprise move for Branthwaite.

According to reports, the Friedkin Group is considering a bid of £70 million in order to comply with the Profit and Sustainability Rules, despite Moyes and Everton’s intense desire to hold onto Branthwaite as they move into the Hill Dickinson Stadium for the upcoming season.

Liverpool hold advantage in the race to sign £75m PL star

The fact that he is at Everton and Liverpool doesn’t purchase players from Everton is surprising. They’ve tried before, but everything has always gone according to plan.

According to the Liverpool Echo, it will be challenging for any club to recruit Branthwaite this summer. Even though it would cost a lot of money, Everton doesn’t want to sell him.

However, they also claim that the player’s contentment on Merseyside and lack of desire to go are two reasons Everton believes they can keep him. If he signs with Liverpool, he won’t have to.

But Liverpool has more advantages than that. According to the Daily Mail, Branthwaite is eager to step up and play UEFA Champions League football, something the Reds can definitely provide.

Naturally, those are merely benefits for persuading the player, and that isn’t the real issue here. Liverpool, meanwhile, seems to have no issue doing so.
