The Bundesliga’s biggest clubs reportedly reached out to sign the player, but they are ‘hesitant’.
The 23-year-old Dutch player’s season at Bayer Leverkusen has been amazing. His contribution to Leverkusen’s first-ever Bundesliga title victory was significant. He took part in both offence and defence. This season, he has contributed 26 goals in 47 games, which is excellent for a defender.
