Liverpool interested in signing 22-year-old Micky van de Ven this summer.

The Reds would see a massive overhaul in the summer with as many as four to five players coming in the transfer window.

Club sporting director Julian Ward is leaving this summer and Jorg Schmadtke has agreed on a three-month deal to work alongside Jurgen Klopp.

The club is now interested in Wolfsburg dender Micky van de Ven who has been one of the regular starters in the German club.

He is a left-footed centre-back who can operate as a left-back too.

Van de Ven has captained the Netherlands U-21 side and is yet to make an appearance for the senior national team.

Schmadtke’s arrival could open the door for Wolfsburg defender Van de Ven in this summer.

Liverpool would definitely need a centre-back in case Joel Matip or Joe Gomez move on this summer.
