Adam Lallana could be a hit in Major League Soccer, couldn’t he?

The Englishman has attracted surprise January interest.

Liverpool ace Adam Lallana is considering a move to the Major League Soccer or the Chinese Super League.

Lallana’s contract with Liverpool is running out next summer, and The Telegraph says China and MLS are hoping to lure him to their shores, despite the fact that Liverpool are ready to discuss an extension.

He has scored 22 times with 21 assists in 164 appearances for Liverpool following his remarkable tenure at Southampton, and picked up his 34th cap in March 2018.

The Engaldn international, who began his career at Southampton, joined Liverpool in 2014 and became a vital player there. In recent seasons, injuries and new additions to the squad have limited his appearances with the club.

Aiming to sign a long-term contract and hoping for promise of more regular playing time, the player might review more options and even consider a move away in January if clubs step up their interest when the transfer window re-opens, local media reported.

MLS have attracted many former England stars including David Beckham, Wayne Rooney, Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard and Ashley Cole.
