Liverpool will face the injury concern ahead of this clash. Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Liverpool will miss the service of midfielder Curtis Jones. The young attacker is still recovering from a minor injury. The 20-year-old star didn’t even feature in Liverpool’s most recent Premier League clash against Watford last weekend.
Meanwhile, Klopp is optimistic that Scouser will be available for a Premier League clash against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Liverpool boss told to club’s official website, “Today he (Jones) did only warming up and then did his stuff, but still individual training and we decided to leave him here [home] to continue that. And then hopefully he is ready for United.”
Jones has scored one goal and registered three assists in six appearances for Liverpool this term so Liverpool will miss him in Champions League fixture.
