Midfield is the part where Klopp want to add one good player in January and Liverpool might go with Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo with the deal “one to watch”, journalist Ben Jacobs has told GIVEMESPORT.

Caicedo did a good job for Ecuador at the recent World Cup. He featured in all three of La Tri’s group matches.

Caicedo could be set for a big-money move with Premier League clubs. The 21-year-old is linked with top clubs. As per CBS reporter, Ben Jacobs, Chelsea have their eye on this player.

The current Chelsea boss had worked with Brighton midfielder and he wants to bring the 21-year-old star to Stamford Bridge. Chelsea is currently struggling in the Premier League and takes the 10th spot. They were planning to sign Enzo Fernandez, but the deal is not possible.

Liverpool will now face a task for Caicedo. As per Sky Sports, Liverpool, along with Chelsea, are looking to sign the attacker in January. Meanwhile, transfer insider Dean Jones recently spoke to GMS that Caicedo was on Liverpool’s “radar”, indicating the interest is genuine.

According to reports from Ecuador, the Reds have been said to have already submitted a bid for the 21-year-old midfielder, of which was swiftly rejected by Brighton. His contract will expire in the summer of 2025. He is believed to be available in January for around a £70m fee.

“The other one to watch is Moises Caicedo and this is the one Liverpool think they might go for in January,” Jacobs told GMS.

“But contrary to reports, Liverpool have not yet bid for Moises Caicedo. There’s even reports out there that Liverpool have bid twice for Moises Caicedo.

“Liverpool have not bid for Moises Caicedo.”

According to Fbref, Caicedo ranks within the top 16% of players in his position for tackles per 90 minutes.
