Liverpool looking to replace Mohamed Salah with Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish.

Jack Grealish has been on Manchester United and Manchester City’s radar for a long time now but both the Manchester clubs were not willing to pay £80million for the England international.

Grealish has been in scintillating form this season scoring five goals and providing six assists in 12 Premier League games.

Recently Salah expressed his desire in an interview to play for Spanish giants Barcelona or Real Madrid who has two-and-a-half years left on his Liverpool contract.

He told AS: ‘Honestly, I was very disappointed. I was hoping to be the captain, but it’s a coach’s decision. I accept it.’

Pushed on his future, he added: ‘Who knows what will happen. But right now I am focused on winning the Premier League and the Champions League with Liverpool again.

‘That’s a tough question, but right now I can say that everything is in the hands of the club.’
