Liverpool ‘putting too much pressure’ on Darwin Nunez

Liverpool have put faith in Darwin Nunez to replace the goals and performances of Sadio Mane

It would be unfair to place too much expectation on Darwin Nunez to step in and start performing right away like Luis Diaz did because such events are extremely rare.

It’ll be intriguing to watch how Liverpool do without Mane while playing against a tenacious Manchester City team because if you start the season badly, you’re virtually out of the title fight.

Although the minuscule margin between us and Manchester City can (as we all too well know) narrow to a single point, it feels premature to declare teams in or out of the title fight for the upcoming season.

The fact is that we have Bobby Firmino and Diogo Jota to support our newly acquired Uruguayan player, Mo Salah, and an anticipated front three of Luis Diaz and Mo Salah.

There isn’t any pressure on Jurgen Klopp to integrate our new No. 27 into the team right immediately since he has more than enough skill to do so. As a result, a lot of the weight has been lifted off of his shoulders.
