Liverpool have rejected a first offer from Bayern Munich for Sadio Mane

Mane has stated his intention to leave Liverpool this summer, and Bayern Munich has showed strong interest.

Now, according to reputable writer Paul Joyce, Bayern Munich has made an offer of £21 million with bonuses to attract Mane to Germany. However, as shown in the tweet below, Liverpool has turned down the German champions’ original offer.

Mane’s current deal expires in a year, therefore Bundesliga winners Bayern Munich are expected to be his next destination.

According to the Times, Liverpool has turned down a £21 million proposal from Bayern Munich for the attacker.

The offer was reportedly received last week and contained a further £4 million in add-ons if Bayern won the Champions League in the future.

Liverpool turned down the offer because they feel Mane, who has won every conceivable trophy with the Reds, is worth more, although they haven’t set a price for him.

Jurgen Klopp’s side are also said to be interested in Benfica attacker Darwin Nunez, according to the report, although they will not pursue him at any cost.
