Klopp should consider Frenkie de Jong in January or at the end of this campaign.
According to a fresh report form Fichajes, Liverpool are showing interest in recruiting Barcelona midfielder, Frenkie de Jong. It has been reported that the Reds have set their sights on landing the Dutchman during the winter transfer window.
De Jong has experienced a solid season at the Nou Camp so far. The 25-year-old has found the back of the net twice and provided one assist in 17 matches for the Catalan giants across all competitions.
The Dutch sensation is also linked with Manchester United but this seal will not happen if Liverpool takes charge. The former Ajax man will see his contract expire in the summer of 2026.
De Jong can get stuck in with some crunching tackles to break the opposition’s rhythm in the game and can sense the danger well to secure possession back for his team in the middle of the park.
The Netherlands international’s best years are ahead of him which makes him a decent option for Klopp to consider this January or at the end of this campaign.
