Liverpool target rejects the chance to join them this summer

Gianluigi Donnarumma has been heavily linked with a summer exit

Liverpool have progressed well under Jurgen Klopp since he took over the charge of the club. It was clearly visible this term as they reached Champions League final but lost 3-1 to Real Madrid on Sunday.

The Reds have already completed the signing of Fabinho from Monaco few days ago and Naby Keita is set to arrive next month but Klopp is still looking to make more signings in order to strengthen the squad for next season.

One of the key areas the German coach is keen to reinforce is between the sticks. Since Simon Mignolet joined the club, he has often been criticized for his inconsistent performances and has fallen down the pecking order in recent months. He has been heavily linked with a summer move.

Loris Karius has been preferred ahead of the Belgian International. He has been in great form in recent months, keeping 10 clean sheets and conceding 17 goals in 20 appearances and helping the team to reach the Champions League final. But his poor performances in the Champions League final proved the Premier League giants need a world class goalkeeper next season.

They have been linked to host of goalkeepers and one of them is AC Milan star Gianluigi Donnarumma. He has been the subject of intense transfer speculations since he made his debut for them but the club have always rejected a move for him. But the Italian giants are now willing to let the goalkeeper go if they receive right bid for him.

Former Borussia Dortmund boss is very keen to bring the Italian this summer and the player has already attracted an offer from them.

The 19 year old has rejected the chance to make a summer move to Liverpool, according to  Corriere dello Sport . He is not eager about heading to England though his representative Mino Raiola wants him to move there.

Liverpool are likely to turn their attention towards Roma star Alisson Becker but he could cost them a huge transfer fees.
