Leicester City midfielder could leave Premier League club for a bigger challenge, according to The Athletic (Subscription Required) [h/t Express]. Youri Tielemans tipped to leave Leicester to play at Anfield. Tielemans has been impressive for Leicester City since his joining in 2019.
The Belgian midfielder has scored 13 goals and registered 16 assists in 94 Premier League appearances for Brendan Roger’s side. The 24-year-old midfielder’s memorable strike was against Chelsea which helped Foxes to win FA Cup last season.
Reports also claim that Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Manchester United are also interested in Youri Tielemans. The Belgian midfielder might be a good replacement for Gini Wijnaldum who left the club for PSG before the start of season 2021-22. Thiago Alcantara and Harvey Elliott are also unavailable due to injury. Tielemans’ addition will boost the Reds attack. His contract will expire in 2023.
