Liverpool Targetting Adama Traore But Face Bayern Munich Battle

Liverpool are pursuing Wolves winger, Adama Traore after the winger’s burst of form this season.

Some managers have deemed the Spaniard to be unplayable and that teams can only try to deal with his deliveries.

Traore has shown his rapid growth under Nuno Espirito Santo, scoring 6 goals this season and delivering 8 assists. He has finally started to uphold the reputation with which he came into the country from Barcelona’s famed La Masia academy. Traore has become a dangerous weapon behind whom Wolves have rallied to reach the Europa League round of 16.

Santo’s men are also at pace to finish in the top five this season. Traore has been an instrumental piece in their aim for authority in the European top-flight. He was formerly rejected by Bayern Munich in 2015 when Barcelona had also disposed of him. After 5 years, both clubs are interested in him with Bayern heavily invested in bringing him to the Allianz.

Of course, Liverpool will have a strong fight on their hands in getting the Wolves record signing. While Jurgen Klopp have the best attacking trio in Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah, he does not have a backup attacking system anywhere close to their quality. Traore would be able to wreck havoc when brought on from the substitute’s bench in the later stages of a match. His strength, pace and dribbling ability is nearly impossible to deal with for most defenders.
