Liverpool teen midfielder out for the remainder of the season

Stefan Bajcetic out for the rest of the season with a thigh injury.

The 18-year-old midfielder made 21 appearances across competitions in the campaign for the Reds.

He scored his first senior goal against Aston Villa back in December.

He has been one of the standout performers for Liverpool in a season that has seen Jurgen Klopp’s men struggle in domestic competitions.

The Merseyside club are now competing for the top-four spot in the Premier League after getting knocked out from all cup competitions.

Jurgen Klopp’s squad has been repeatedly cursed with injuries this season with the latest being the Spaniard’s stress abductor injury.

Stefan Bajcetic has ruled himself out for the rest of the season via an instagram post.

“But I understand this is part of football and will only make me stronger physically and mentally.

“I would also like to say thank you to you Reds for all the support through the season and I assure you I will do my best to be back stronger than ever.”
