Liverpool are reportedly scared that Sadio Mane might leave the club this summer.
However, the club are ready to turn the situation into their profit by signing Kylian Mbappe.
Mane is contracted to the club till 2023 but was offered an improved contract with an extension 9 months back. He has not signed the contract yet and there are rumors that Real Madrid and PSG, will want to use the situation to get him.
Liverpool are clearly in an unwanted situation but want to use it to their advantage by signing Kylian Mbappe should Mane leave.
The French youngster is valued at £200 million-plus. Liverpool will secure at least somewhere between £150-170 million for Mane and will only have to throw in another £20-£40 million to sign Mbappe then!
The deal has a lot of moving parts and might not work for multiple reasons. However, Liverpool’s plans will at least put a stopper on them from chasing Mane relentlessly if they are scared of missing out on Mbappe to Liverpool.
As for Jurgen Klopp’s men, there is no concrete evidence either that Mane wants to leave the club where he has a starting spot and who are the best footballing team on the planet at the moment.
