Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans enjoyed an impressive season with the Foxes and scored the winning goal in the FA Cup final.
The Reds have been linked with the Belgian midfielder, as a possible replacement for now-departed Gini Wijnaldum who joined PSG last week.
The 24-year old made his move permanent in the summer of 2020 after initially joining on loan from Anderlecht.
Former Aston Villa striker Gabby Agbonlahor has warned Liverpool to strike a deal for the Belgian midfielder but warned that Leicester might not sell.
“He’s definitely good enough,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider.
“He’s a great player and Liverpool definitely need to replace Wijnaldum. I thought they needed another midfielder even if Wijnaldum had stayed.
“It’s definitely something Liverpool need to get over the line.
“I just don’t see Leicester letting him go though, even if the player wanted to go. I don’t see Leicester letting any of their better players go.”
