Jurgen Klopp feels that Arsenal would be certain to triumph against United.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp makes a prediction on Arsenal’s clash against Manchester United. He feels that Arsenal will easily defeat Erik ten Hag’s side in the Premier League.

Klopp’s prediction came after Liverpool’s 2-2 draw with Man United. This draw gave a slight advantage to Arsenal and Man City in the title race. The Gunners are now top of the table due to a better goal difference.

Liverpool had good control in the game after the first half as Man United did not register a single attempt on target. The Red Devils came back strongly in the second half and they were ahead in the game with the scoreline of 2-1. Mo Salah finally scored a goal and equalised for Liverpool.

Mikel Arteta’s team will also play against Man United next month and Jurgen Klopp feels that Arsenal would be certain to triumph on that date if Man United produce a similar display to their showing on Sunday.

Klopp said: “Probably. If we are still around then that would be great. But Arsenal is a good football team. If they (Man Utd) play like they did today they (Arsenal) will win the game. I am 100% sure of that.”

Liverpool and Arsenal have both 71 points from their 31 game this season., Mikel Arteta’s side is ahead due to the goal difference. Man City are just one point behind so they are also in the race.

Liverpool will now shift their attention to Europa League where they will host Atalanta BC in the first leg of their quarter-final showdown.

Jurgen Klopp says Alexis Mac Allister stunned Liverpool coaches in training

Jurgen Klopp hails Alexis Mac Allister’s training impact at Liverpool

Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp has stated that midfielder Alexis MacAllister continues to surprise the coaching staff during training sessions, as the Argentine makes an impressive debut season at Anfield.

Mac Allister, who joined Liverpool from Brighton for £35 million last summer, has been in excellent form lately, scoring four goals in the Reds’ previous five matches, including a sensational strike in the recent win over Sheffield United.

Klopp observed that Mac Allister’s impact extends beyond game days, with the midfielder constantly impressing in training with his ability and work ethic.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Klopp said: “How can you not love a player or boy like him? He is incredible. He is educated in the best possible way, full of life, confident, funny, smart and an incredible footballer. Oh my God. You watch training sessions and the coaches look at each other and go ‘wow, what was that?’

“How he interacts with the other boys, how he took the South American outfield players under his wing naturally without telling them what to do, it’s just how they came together.

“I loved it from the first moment we met before we signed him. I met his dad, and the football understanding in his family is second to none. His dad a former professional, uncle a former professional, brother is a professional, cousin is a professional. They all eat and breathe football and that’s so good.”

Klopp went on to address some teasing from within the Liverpool squad that Mac Allister is his new favorite player, adding: “Of course I love him. “I don’t know where the boys get it from where they call him the manager’s pet or favorite

“I have a lot of them, but he is definitely one of them. They are all so likeable for different reasons. It’s not about being perfect and it never was.”

Klopp praised Mac Allister’s ability to continuously generate moments of brilliance while discussing his performance on the training pitch. The Liverpool manager stated that Mac Allister’s outstanding performances in matches are a result of his effort and talent in training.

Liverpool’s return to the Premier League summit has been aided by Mac Allister’s contributions, with Klopp applauding the midfielder’s impact on the team’s success.

As Liverpool seeks to maintain their title lead, Mac Allister’s form both on and off the pitch is going to be critical in the club’s pursuit of silverware.

Liverpool offered Trent Alexander-Arnold a new mega deal

Liverpool offers Trent Alexander-Arnold lucrative new contract

Liverpool Football Club has made an intense effort to guarantee the future of top player Trent Alexander-Arnold, offering him a massive new deal. According to Football Insider, negotiations are now underway and are expected to continue throughout the summer.

Alexander-Arnold, who has played an important part at Anfield, has expressed his desire to stay with the club. The 25-year-old right-back has proven his value on the pitch, making an incredible 300 appearances for Liverpool along with 100 goal involvements, including 18 goals and 82 assists.

Following alleged interest from European powerhouse Real Madrid, sources expect simple talks over Alexander-Arnold’s new contract. The club is trying to ward off possible suitors and keep one of its most precious assets.

“There have been a few reports linking Alexander-Arnold with a potential move to Real Madrid, who have also been linked with Reece James,” he told the Inside Track podcast.

“Right-back is an area of the team that Real are looking at.

“I don’t see Alexander-Arnold having any real desire to leave Liverpool right now, he’s vice-captain, probably a future captain in the making in a few years.

“Once Virgil van Dijk hangs up his boots or moves on I think Alexander-Arnold is the ready-made replacement as captain.

“He’s a boyhood Liverpool fan, loves the club, so I think there will be talks ongoing right now and over the summer.

“Once Liverpool get everything in order with the new manager now they’ve got the structure off the pitch set in stone with Richard Hughes and Michael Edwards back in there, I’m sure negotiations should progress pretty smoothly, and Alexander-Arnold will be offered a bumper new contract to extend his stay at Anfield.

“I’m sure the player himself, as long as those terms are right, will have no issues committing his long-term future to his boyhood club.”

This revelation comes as Liverpool takes a proactive approach to securing important members of their team, with rumours circulating that the club will activate another defender’s release clause. The Merseyside giants obviously intend to strengthen their team and keep their competitive edge in domestic and European contests.

As negotiations progress, Liverpool supporters await eagerly for official confirmation of Alexander-Arnold’s extended stay at Anfield, a development that would undoubtedly bolster the club’s aspirations for future success.

Liverpool-linked head coach Ruben Amorim may leave Sporting Lisbon in summer

Liverpool-linked head coach Ruben Amorim may leave Sporting Lisbon in summer
Bildbyrån

Amorim was once again asked about the possibility of taking over from Klopp, and he left the door open by his statement.

Liverpool are currently finding options for the ideal replacement of Jurgen Klopp from next season. The German will leave the club at the end of the season and the Reds have figured out some new options.

Liverpool are targeting Sporting Lisbon head coach Ruben Amori. There is a big update in his future in Portugal. The 39-year-old may leave the club this summer as he has offered no guarantees that he will stay at Sporting Lisbon.

The Reds recently targeted Bayer Leverkusen boss Xabi Alonso but he will stay at Bundesliga leaders for one more season. Amorim is now the frontrunner to take the job at Anfield.

His contract at Sporting includes a release clause worth around £12.8m, which Liverpool would seemingly have no qualms about paying.

Amorim was once again asked on the possibility of taking over from Klopp, and he left the door open by saying, “No, I can’t guarantee [I’ll stay], I gave my word and I can’t go back on it. If we don’t win titles, I’ll leave Sporting,” Amorim told a press conference. “It was clear from the start, it was the bet I passed on to the players. We have to win titles.”

French outlet Foot Mercato reports that the Reds have now officially opened discussions with the manager’s agent. The same agent also represents Luis Diaz. Amorim led Sporting to Primeira Liga glory in the 2020-21 season, and he has also won one Portuguese Super Cup and two Portuguese League Cups since taking control in March 2020.

Klopp says why Liverpool improved after Mo Salah was subbed vs Sheffield United

Jurgen Klopp insists Mo Salah wants to stay at Liverpool
Bildbyran

Klopp credits substitutes for Liverpool’s victory over Sheffield United

Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool’s manager, credited his team’s improved performance against Sheffield United to the impact of substitutes after Mo Salah was substituted. With a hard-fought 3-1 victory, the Reds reclaimed the Premier League lead.

With an early score, Liverpool struggled to take control against the league’s bottom team until Klopp made crucial substitutions.

Klopp revitalized his team’s offense by replacing Salah and Ryan Gravenberch with Harvey Elliott and Andy Robertson, respectively. Curtis Jones and Cody Gakpo joined the fray later, replacing Joe Gomez and Domink Szoboslai. These adjustments were crucial as Liverpool pressed ahead with renewed energy.

Robertson’s crucial role in both goals showed Klopp’s tactical savvy. His crosses set up Alexis Mac Allister’s strong strike and Gakpo’s late header, securing the important win. Klopp’s smart substitutions unleashed Liverpool’s attacking potential, swinging the match in their favor.

In his post-match comments, Klopp recognized his bench players’ effect, noting their critical contributions to the team’s win.

“As a manager, you have to take it like you get it. I would prefer to be 5-0 up at that moment already but that’s tricky. We scored one of my favourite goals ever, 1-0, because I think from time to time a striker needs that kind of thing. I ask him quite a lot to press the opponent and it’s quite rare that you get really close enough to have this kind of block, but he did and then scores, 1-0. That’s great.

And then these kind of games are difficult. Low block, obviously learning that their set-pieces are really difficult after 20 seconds when they could have been 1-0 up, which would have been really funny again, and then in the next corner again the ball goes through and there is nobody at the far post – thank God, otherwise that would have been again a big chance.

“Then obviously we controlled the game but there are different ways to control a football game and the way we controlled it today was not the right one with not enough creating. I don’t expect now that we have chance after chance after chance because they didn’t even have counter-attacks if I’m right. If I would have asked the boys for the counter-press, it was not necessary because we won the ball back anyway, so it’s like you don’t even have these kind of moments. What you have to do, we saw that after 60 minutes. You have to accelerate, you have to speed up, you have to overlap, underlap – and that’s what we did all of a sudden.

“The example, Robbo going down the line constantly, which was really helpful. That’s the problem, the game was a difficult one to get rhythm but we should have had a better rhythm than we had. That’s what we got after 60 or whatever. OK, we needed then Macca’s wondergoal obviously to turn it properly around, but the third goal was exactly like it should have been before already, these kind of moments – Robbo full speed, wonderful cross, sensational header and then we won the game.

“In the end, all good. I don’t know when we face next time a similar challenge, probably all the other games are now different, especially the next one. But super-positive the boys on, Curtis [Jones] back, Robbo trained now three days or so, really helpful, Harvey [Elliott]. Cody, not out but a really good game, which he needed as well. Really pleased and that helps obviously. Nobody got injured already as far as I know today, so recovery started already and now we recover and go again.”

The victory not only catapulted Liverpool back to the top of the table, but also showed Klopp’s ability to use his squad’s depth to secure crucial points in the title chase.

Liverpool ready to offer £26m for Juventus defender Dean Huijsen

Liverpool gets major boost in their pursuit of Adrien Rabiot from Juventus

Liverpool targets £26 million move for Juventus defender Dean Huijsen

Liverpool Football Club is prepared to make an impact in the transfer market as they look for a vibrant defensive potential. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Reds prefer to make a £26 million offer for Juventus’ 18-year-old defender Dean Huijsen this summer.

According to club sources, Liverpool is looking at improving its defensive options and sees Huijsen as an ideal long-term potential. Considering his young age, Huijsen has impressed during his loan stay at Roma from Juventus.

Newcastle United, who are also interested in the young Dutchman, will compete with the Merseyside club for his signature. Liverpool, on the other hand, is still confident in their pursuit of Huijsen and is prepared to make a significant offer to Juventus.

With Joel Matip’s contract likely to expire in the summer, Liverpool sees Huijsen as a potential long-term defensive successor. Liverpool, which is renowned for developing young talent, believes it can provide Huijsen with the platform he needs to reach his full potential.

However, Juventus could be willing to part ways with Huijsen in order to raise funds for fresh purchases. The possibility to earn regular playing time in the Premier League may be appealing to the young defender, who is hungry to advance his career.

If Liverpool buy Dean Huijsen for £26 million, it may be a wise investment if the youngster continues to develop and thrive under Jurgen Klopp and his coaching staff.
