Former Chelsea player Tony Cascarino has urged Liverpool to sign Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha. The 26-year old has scored 9 goals and has provided 8 assists for Palace this season so far.

Zaha gave a fine performance against Arsenal last week as Palace won 3-2 against the Gunners at the Emirates.

This season, Zaha has been amongst the finest players outside the Top Six and Tony Cascarino feels Liverpool can benefit from signing him.

Cascarino said, “Well, all of the top-six now are playing attack-minded football. Liverpool played Palace last year and I went to the game and Jurgen Klopp was consistently on Alexander-Arnold about Wilf Zaha, you could see it from the sideline.

Literally tracking his movements, Zaha, the whole game. I kept thinking after that game, Klopp really does respect Zaha as a player and he knows how dangerous he is. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see him at Liverpool, but he could do a job for any of the top-six.

After impressing against Arsenal, Zaha will hope to produce another fine performance against Everton on Saturday.
