Ruben Neves, a midfielder for Wolves, is set to depart his club at the end of the current campaign, and Liverpool is reportedly interested in making a move for him this summer

According to Football Insider, who claims that Liverpool’s interest in Neves is firm as they get ready for a midfield makeover this summer, Neves is a target for the Reds.

Following his passionate fan thank-you speech after his team’s 1-1 draw with Everton at Molineux last weekend and his subsequent comments to Sky Sports in which he expressed his desire to play Champions League football, many are anticipating that Sunday’s matchup against Arsenal will be Neves’ final game for Wolves.

Neves has been linked to Barcelona recently, and SPORT reports that he has a deal in place to join the Spanish powerhouses, but Liverpool are still reportedly interested in him.

Jurgen Klopp is looking for replacements for James Milner, Naby Keita, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who are expected to leave on July 1.

Because of this, and because his team still has the remotest possibility of qualifying for the Champions League, they will believe that they have a very good chance of landing Neves this summer.
