Liverpool’s five-year deal with New Balance is about to end in June but no guarantee of a Premier League trophy by then. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, all games have been postponed until further notice.
Given how the situation is progressing, Liverpool might not even be crowned champions before their Nike’s deal takes effect. New Balance stand to lose out a lot in terms of profit, given just how iconic this season has been for the Reds.
UEFA has given teams across Europe until June 30 to complete all their fixtures for the season. The Reds fans might be willing to wait longer than put on this jersey from the upcoming campaign.
