In Liverpool’s Champions League encounter against Real Madrid one week from today, attacker Luis Diaz might make his comeback
Diego Reuda, a journalist from Colombia, predicts that he will likely sit on the substitute for Liverpool’s Premier League matchup with Bournemouth. He won’t likely appear against the Cherries, but he might participate in the matchup with the La Liga team.
During the 3-2 defeat to Arsenal for the Merseyside club in October, the 26-year-old experienced his first LCL tear. Two months later, in Dubai, he hurt himself again. The Colombian striker had to undergo surgery for his second injury, which kept him out of action for five months. He recently went back to training though as they got him up to pace physically. His workload has gradually grown by them.
Diaz has engaged in a lot of intense ball training and solitary workouts in the gym. When discussing Diaz’s recovery, Jurgen Klopp, the manager of Liverpool, was upbeat and said that everything was proceeding well and according to schedule. The most recent rumours indicate that the former FC Porto player will return sooner than he had suggested he would after the March international break.
Diaz will provide Liverpool with the energy they need to defeat Real Madrid. At Anfield, Los Blancos led 5-2 after the first match. The Reds know they must sacrifice everything to beat the 14-time Champions League champions as they head to Spain. In the division, they must first defeat Bournemouth. They will be feeling confident after their 7-0 thrashing of foe Manchester United.
On Sunday, Mohamed Salah, Cody Gakpo, and Darwin Nunez destroyed United while playing at the top of their game. Before Roberto Firmino entered the game, they all each made a hat trick. With his second goal, Salah surpassed Robbie Fowler to take the top spot among the team’s all-time Premier League goal scorers. Liverpool will be glad to have Diaz back for this critical stretch of the season, despite their recent improvement in form. He will increase the team’s offensive output.
