Luis Diaz has stated that he is really pleased with Liverpool’s summer transfer activity and that he is not under any pressure to wear the No. 7 jersey

The Reds signed Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, and Wataru Endo throughout the transfer season, and on the final day of the window, Jurgen Klopp completed the much-needed midfield makeover by bringing in Ryan Gravenberch from Bayern Munich.

The group took the place of the five players who had left Liverpool since the end of the previous season: James Milner, Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jordan Henderson, and Fabinho, who have all signed with Saudi clubs.

Liverpool has now won three and drawn one of its first four Premier League games, suggesting that the new-look midfield is paying off for Klopp’s team.

Diaz has remarked how impressed he is with the calibre of the incoming additions. He and the coaching team did an outstanding job, in my opinion. They have helped me get better strategically and physically, and it’s important to give your all in every game.

Diaz’s squad number was changed from 23 to 7 due to the departure of Milner over the summer, but the Colombian international claims he is unconcerned about sharing a shirt with legends like Kevin Keegan, Sir Kenny Dalglish, and most recently Luis Suarez.
