Sadio Mane open to Barcelona or Real Madrid move this summer

Sadio Mane would be willing to end his Liverpool stint to head to Barcelona or Real Madrid.

Liverpool attacker Sadio Mane is reportedly planning to move to Barcelona or Real Madrid this summer.

The Reds man recently became the Africa Cup of Nations champion with Senegal. He scored the winning penalty in the final against Salah’s Egypt and was named Player of the Tournament.

The 29-year-old will see his contract expiring in the summer of 2023. Real Madrid and Barcelona are looking for the Senegal international.

As per the reports of Goal, Sadio would be willing to end his Liverpool stint to head to Barcelona or Real Madrid should either club come knocking on the door this summer, with the attacker ‘dreaming’ of playing in La Liga.

The report also adds that the 29-year-old has informed his agents of his stance, and Liverpool are yet to open ‘serious’ discussions with Mane over a new deal.

Mane has netted 10 times and scored one assist in 26 appearances for Liverpool this season and has won the Premier League, Champions League, Club World Cup and UEFA Super Cup in the Reds outfit.

The former Southampton man arrived at Anfield in the summer of 2016. Mane will not available for the Leicester City clash on Thursday.
