Liverpool’s away on loan midfielder Marko Grujic has claimed that he misses Liverpool.
Grujic who is away on loan at German club Hertha Berlin has claimed that the Bundesliga club is essential for his development but he misses being at Anfield and to be at Liverpool.
He told The Echo: “It’s not easy to become a part of the Liverpool squad, I can see myself in the red shirt but I have to become more experienced before I can wear it again. I want to improve my physical performance and take my concentration to another level. I want to be ready for Liverpool so I will have a chance to get into the team.
“Sometimes I miss Liverpool, of course, it’s one of the greatest teams in the world, but for my development it’s more important to play regularly right now.”
Grujic is currently facing competition at a very high level in the Liverpool squad. The Reds have ever present captain Jordan Henderson and midfield beast Fabinho in defensive midfield while nuisance creators like Naby Keita and Gini Wijnaldum are also important. So it will be tough for Grujic to fight his way in!
