Michael Owen claims Man City will win the race this year.
The Cityzens thrashed Wolves 5-1 in their last game and are three points ahead of their arch-rivals Liverpool in the league table.
The Reds unfortunately have dropped points in their last ten fixtures despite a good run in the season.
Both the sides now have two remaining games in the league and Liverpool legend Michael Owen backs Guardiola’s men to clinch the title this season.
“I felt it was a double knockout tonight (for Liverpool having seen Manchester City defeat Wolves),” he told Premier League Productions.
“Not just winning the game, but the goal difference is now becoming an issue.
“I fancy Liverpool to win both of their games, I must admit – listen, Manchester City could drop points against West Ham United. But I can’t see them dropping points to both (West Ham United and Aston Villa).
“Jurgen Klopp has to go into that game against Southampton thinking ‘okay, we need to win this game by four or five’, then hope Man City lose one game. It wasn’t a good night for Liverpool.”
