Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has praised Liverpool’s new signing Takumi Minamino on his debut for the team on Premier League.

“Super. Outstanding. Exactly the player we wanted, exactly the player we wished for,” he told a news conference.

“In your first game in a team that you don’t know, if it’s a settled team it’s already difficult, this team we threw on the pitch with more or less two sessions together and then showing this kind of game understanding, [his] football skills are exceptional, attitude is outstanding, leading the chasing pack so often in different situations.

“It was a nice add on to have Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain back because he looked pretty lively when he came on, trains only two days now and that’s why he didn’t start.

“But yeah it was super.”

Liverpool are in the form of their life. They have won 21 games and drawn 1 in their 22 games this season.

They are well on their course to the title and are already 13 points in the lead with 2 games in hand.

They are in the midst of a spree of games in January and hence are playing players from all over the squad.

Minamino’s debut has been brilliant and the player has already shown that he means business at Liverpool.

Had it not been for Salah’s selfishnes, he could have even had his first goal for the club!
