Liverpool received a handsome offer from Saudi Pro League club Al Ittihad.

Mo Salah was at the centre of a £150m deadline day offer from Saudi Arabian side Al Ittihad which was quickly rejected by the Reds.

But the Egyptian forward has been completely silent during the transfer saga and had no intention to leave the Merseyside club.

Salah had a decent start to his new campaign as he registered atleast one goal contribution in each five Premier League games.

Andy Robertson praised Salah for his professionalism during this whole debacle of a summer move.

He said: “I don’t get many goals so it’s always nice to score, we knew they were quick on counter-attacks and corners so we had to be alert, and I know Mo can pick a pass so I got in there and luckily slotted it in.

“During the speculation, I thought he was superb on the pitch and there was a lot of talk outside it. Now that’s all done and dusted.

“He probably only gets credit when he gets goals which is slightly unfair, but he’s got us two assists today, he’s got us back in the game, created chances and second half he was really good.”
