Mohamed Salah reveals favourite memory with Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool

Mohamed Salah, Liverpool’s brilliant forward, has revealed his favourite memory at Anfield with manager Jurgen Klopp. The Egyptian star confessed that his best memory with Klopp was winning the famous Champions League trophy in 2019. The win was an important moment in Liverpool’s journey under Klopp’s leadership.

When asked in an interview with Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher for Sky Sports for his favourite memory of Klopp, Salah took a moment to think before replying

“With him? I always look at him on the line [touchline], he’s so emotional on the line! You should watch him the whole game on the line, it’s very funny.

“I think when we won the Champions League, it was unbelievable. Emotionally, you could see the videos we had and the emotion we had after the game was a good memory.”

Klopp, who confirmed his retirement from Liverpool due to weariness, has led the club to an incredible season, with the possibility of completing a historic quadruple.

Despite a trophyless start in his first three seasons, Klopp’s reign saw a stunning enhancement, ending in Champions League triumph over Tottenham Hotspur.

The win not only ended Liverpool’s trophy drought, but it also brought in a new era of success. Since their European glory, Klopp has led the Reds to six more titles, including the coveted Premier League trophy in 2020.

Salah’s confession shows the deep link between him and Klopp, reflecting the resilience and success that define their partnership. As Liverpool seeks additional silverware, the remaining legacy of Salah and Klopp’s relationship continues to inspire fans worldwide.
