This past weekend, the Cairo home of Liverpool player Mohamed Salah was broken into, and some satellite receivers were taken

According to GOAL, the crime involving Salah’s home in the Fifth Settlement neighbourhood of Cairo is presently being investigated by Egyptian authorities.

As the thieves appeared to have targeted the satellite receivers in particular, security employees are being questioned and surveillance footage is being examined in an effort to identify the offenders and piece together a complete picture of what transpired.

When Salah’s nephew noticed that the house’s windows were open, he realised what had occurred. After a brief inspection, he saw that the villa was in a mess and that some satellite receivers had been taken.

In the second half, Diogo Jota assisted Liverpool in winning a penalty, but Salah shockingly missed the chance. Salah has had a challenging weekend, as the winger significantly contributed to Liverpool’s 1-0 loss to Bournemouth on Saturday by missing a crucial penalty in the second half.

As the Egyptian authorities continue to look for the perpetrators, there will probably be more information on this tale in the near future.
