Nathaniel Clyne believes Liverpool can overcome all the hurdles in their quest to the Premier League.

The Reds squandered another golden chance as they shared spoils with a second string Manchester United on Sunday. United were without the likes of Nemanja Matic and Anthony Martial while Ander Herrera, Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard all had to make way after suffering injuries.

Jurgen Klopp’s barely had something concrete in the opponent attacking third as David De Gea had a quiet evening in the United goal. Liverpool could have built a healthy lead at the top but a one point difference is never gonna give you assurance especially when Manchester City have been in devastating form.

Liverpool had a blistering start to the campaign but a number of point loss became eventful as City recovered their lost ground. With the season coming to its business it would be now or never for them.

Clyne said, “You can see right now in the dressing room they will just be enjoying the opportunity they have.

“They’re top of the league – it’s on them really. All they need to do is do their best in their games and that will lead them over the line.”
