Liverpool have one major injury concern going into the Bayern Munich game tomorrow

Liverpool have one major concern going into the game against Bayern Munich tomorrow, with star man Roberto Firmino not being spotted in the training, as he suspected to have a virus and will be assessed before the game.

Jurgen Klopp would be sweating on the fitness of his forward, who is probably the most valuable cog when it comes to playing the pressing game from the front.

With the kick-off not very far away, it will be interesting to see whether the Brazilian can make it up and be available for selection in time.

If not, then Klopp has Xherdan Shaqiri back in full training, and Daniel Sturridge is waiting in the fringes as well.

The first option would be to play Mohamed Salah up front and Shaqiri on the right. Or Sturridge could lead the line, flanked by the Egyptian and Sadio Mane, just like they did in matchday one of the group-stage against PSG.

Firmino’s health is certainly a cause for concern, as he becomes the third Liverpool player to have picked up the virus since last month. The others were Georginio Wijnaldum and Virgil van Dijk.
