According to reports from the Sun, PSG are interested in signing Liverpool vice-captain James Milner. The 33-year old has been a key player for Liverpool since joining the club from Manchester City in 2015. He has since made 176 appearances for Liverpool, scoring 22 goals and providing 36 assists.

This season, the former England international has made 44 appearances, scoring 7 goals and providing as many assists.

Milner’s current contract at Liverpool expires next month and hasn’t signed a new contract yet. Provided Milner doesn’t sign a new contract till the end of next month, he will be available for free.  PSG are reportedly hoping to rope him in then. The Ligue 1 powerhouse will have Ander Herrera in the summer and are eager for more reinforcements.

Milner’s experience and his tenacity makes him a pretty suitable option for PSG.
