Liverpool are not consistent enough to beat Manchester City.
The Reds finished just one point behind Manchester City last season and collected 92 points in the process.
The number of points they collected would be enough to win the title in any other Premier League season.
They were up against a side who were known for their consistency but it’s unfair to dub Liverpool an inconsistent side.
Both the sides have made marquee signings this summer and we could expect another close battle between Klopp and Guardiola.
TalkSPORT pundit Trevor Sinclair explains why Liverpool won’t the Premier League title.
“Liverpool go all guns blazing, you don’t know what you’re going to get, that’s almost their weakness,” said the pundit.
“Because City are so controlled, they win games the same way time and time again.
“I’ve always stuck to that point, Liverpool are more of a cup-winning team because on their given day they can beat anybody
“Manchester City will get the most points consistently because they’ll beat teams more regularly.”
