RB Leipzig is really interested in signing offensive midfielder Fábio Carvalho from Liverpool this summer

The Reds, according to the transfer specialist, do not want to sell him on a long-term basis. Carvalho might go on loan out of Anfield, according to new confirmation from Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp.

“There’s a chance he’ll get loaned out. The German was cited by The Athletic as stating, “We’ll see. Fábio’s career wasn’t his best year, but it may have been the most significant. According to Transfermarkt, Carvalho only made 13 league starts this year while scoring two goals. The same website has him valued at about £17 million right now.

The young player from Portugal is incredibly talented. Although he didn’t see much action during the 2022–23 Premier League season, Liverpool has a wealth of offensive skill. Getting into Klopp’s starting lineup was never going to be easy.

He was a complete revelation during his final campaign with Fulham. Carvalho made 36 league games, making 10 goals and eight assists. According to WhoScored, he also completed 1.7 critical passes per game, which was the second-highest average in his team. Considering that Carvalho was playing in the Championship, a league below the Premier League, these are still remarkably high stats.

The former Fulham player, who, according to Spotrac, is currently making £40,000 a week at Anfield, may one day become a footballer good enough to make Liverpool’s team. The skill is unquestionably there. So this summer, moving on a loan might be the best option.
