Gary Neville believes that Real Madrid and Barcelona would leap at the opportunity of signing either Sadio Mane or Mohamed Salah.

The prolific duo has scored 43 goals between them this season and even dealt out significant damage to Chelsea’s top-four race this past weekend. Both the attackers led the Reds to a 2-0 victory over Maurizio Sarri’s men to reclaim the lead at the very top of the Premier League.

“Real Madrid and Barcelona would want all four of them tomorrow. Usually what they do is pick the next best players in the world,” Neville told Sky Sports.

“Salah, Mane, [Raheem] Sterling, [Leroy] Sane. You could probably add Bernardo Silva to that for Barcelona’s point of view.

“You could probably put those five into a pot and Barcelona and Real Madrid have always plucked the best players out of our country and would take every single one of them tomorrow.”

Madrid and Barcelona have been linked to players of their own liking but based on present form, any of the aforementioned names could be a good fit. All three of Liverpool’s forwards, including Roberto Firmino, is expected to be subjects of heavy interests this summer.

However, it will surely take a massive financial figure to convince Jurgen Klopp into selling the players he moulded to stardom. Mane and Salah are the primary sources through which goals come from and the Merseyside club simply cannot afford to lose them.
