28 year old Robert Firmino seems like the perfect replacement for Benzema, especially on the Real Madrid frontlines. An amazingly competent player in his own right, Firmino likewise draws out the best in people around him. No wonder Real Madrid would like to have him on their team.
However, Klopp doesn’t want to let go of Firmino that easy and Real Madrid will have to wait quite a bit to sign him. Firmino’s contract with Liverpool is on till the year 2023 and the Liverpool boss is quite thankful for that. So, even though Real Madrid would like to sign him, there’s no way the Spanish giants can get him on to their side in the near future.
