Liverpool stars Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Alisson will return to training tomorrow.

A statement on Liverpool’s official website stated that the trio will join the training camp in Evian tomorrow before the team travels to Switzerland to play their final pre-season friendly against Olympique Lyon.

Salah, Firmino and Alissonwere all on international duty during the summer. Firmino and Alisson were instrumental in Brazil winning their 9th Copa America title in Brazil. While Firmino netted two goals and provided three assists, Alisson won the Golden Glove, having kept 5 clean sheets and conceding just one goal.

Salah on the other hand did not have an AFCON he or any Egyptian for that matter, would call fruitful as Egypt were hosting the competition and were heavy favorites to win it. The 27-year old scored twice but his team was out in the last 16 after losing to South Africa.

Liverpool‘s pre-season has been a roller-coaster ride so far. The Reds began with wins over Tranmere Rovers and Bradford City which was followed by losses to Borussia Dortmund and Sevilla. They ended their US Tour by drawing against Sporting CP. The Reds play Napoli today before facing Lyon.

Liverpool fans will undoubtedly be very pleased that three of their key players will join the squad before the Community Shied. That said, Jurgen Klopp should give the two players as less playing time as possible against Lyon so that they can be fully fit for the Community Shield clash at Wembley against Manchester City who beat them to the Premier League title by one point.

Sadio Mane who helped Senegal reach the AFCON final will miss the Community Shield match as he will join the training camp a day after it.
