Andy Robertson has given an update on his injury that saw him leave the Scotland national team camp.

The trusted Liverpool left back is an exceptional player and very important member in the Liverpool dressing room. Hence, his injury news has scared many Reds fans.

As per the Scotsman, Robertson revealed all on his injury, stating that “for the last two and a half weeks, I’ve not trained at all for Liverpool.

It’s a niggling injury which won’t go away unless I give it time. My ankle was already injured when a tackle from Rodri on me late in the game against Manchester City? on Sunday opened it up again.”

Robertson has been Liverpool’s number one left back from last season. He has been playing football on a brilliant level ever since breaking into the team last season.

He has been so good that Jurgen Klopp did not have any second thoughts about sending his back up Alberto Moreno off to a different club.

However, the problem that arises now is that if Robertson is injured, Klopp has no player to fall back on. His only option is James Milner, who is a midfielder by trade.

It looks like it will be tough times ahead for Liverpool but that is what all champions are made of are they not?

Also, let us not forget once the January market opens, players can be bought!
