Ryan Gravenberch impressed by Szoboszlai’s remarkable training display
Liverpool’s Ryan Gravenberch has expressed admiration for Hungarian teammate Dominik Szoboszlai’s shooting ability during training sessions. Gravenberch watched Szoboszlai’s amazing show of long-range goals against Aston Villa and Leicester City.
With his transformative contributions, the former RB Leipzig star has made a big influence on Liverpool’s midfield, potentially challenging for the player of the season award.
“I think it was Dominik Szoboszlai, because this guy’s shot is… crazy. It’s crazy,” the 21-year-old stated.
“His shot in training. Sometimes we shoot after training and it’s like one, two, three. They go all in and crazy things.
“I think it’s Dom with his shot.”
With the departures of important players such as Jordan Henderson and Fabinho, Liverpool’s midfield has changed significantly from the previous season.
Bringing in a number of summer signings, particularly high-potential youngster Ryan Gravenberch, was important in reviving the team’s dynamics. This shift has energized Curtis Jones, who has come into his own as a major player and has pleased the fan base with his performances.
Jones’ absence was felt significantly during Liverpool’s 2-2 draw with Brighton, underlining how important he is to the team. Liverpool is looking forward to his return to the team against Bournemouth in November.
The newfound coordination and dynamism in Liverpool’s midfield, led by emerging stars such as Gravenberch and revived figures such as Jones, offers an exciting and promising season for Liverpool.
