Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has said that he was labelled “crazy” to wanting to win the Premier League title with Liverpool. The player has, however, promised to give his everything to get his dream fulfilled. Liverpool are currently trailing the leaders Manchester City on goal difference but have played one match lesser than the Citizens.
Speaking about his ambition to win the Premier League title with the Reds this season, the Golden Boot winner from the last season said, “It’s a dream, to be honest. It was one of my dreams when I came – to win the Premier League. Maybe the people were saying it was crazy, but it was in my mind always to come here and win the Premier League.”
He added, “I said it last season, I said it at the beginning of the season and now we are close. I hope we are going to win it. We will do our best to win it.”
Salah has turned himself into the talisman for the Merseyside club since his arrival at Stamford Bridge in the last term and even got them close to winning the Champions League title as well. However, they were eventually beaten by the champions Real Madrid in the final.
