Skrtel tells Liverpool target to snub Anfield move!

Liverpool are in dire need of a defender.

The club failed to make any significant additions to their backline in the summer transfer market.

Their current stack of defenders are now in trouble with Joe Gomez, Alexander Arnold and Virgil Van Dijk all ruled out due to injuries.

The pairing of Gomez and VVD are likely to miss an entire season making it essential for Pool to sign a new player – and their new target is Milan Skriniar of Inter Milan.

However, former Liverpool defender and Skriniar’s current team-mate Skrtel has advised the player against the move.

“There are moments in life of every player where things go really well, but there are also moments where things don’t go as planned,” Skrtel told Sport Aktuality.

“When this happens it is important for a player to react. Skriniar is going through something similar to this at Inter.

“In recent games he has lost his role as a starter and there is more and more talk about the fact that he could leave the club. (But) he is still young and he should remain strong and fight for his recovery.

“Although there is the interest of English and Spanish clubs, the best solution for him would be to stay at Inter, where he has built a great name for himself.”
